When deciding what to study you undoubtedly read a lot of information about your study programme. Leiden University employs various systems to provide information about programmes and courses and to facilitate communication between lecturers and students.
The Prospectus contains information about all the courses within your study programme. Here you can find all you need to know about your programme. Via the online learning environment Brightspace you can communicate with your lecturers and submit assignments.
Programme information
This research master programme offers the possibility to combine one year research skills (60 ec) with one year specialisation in the literature of one’s choice (60 ec), f.i. Italian, German, Dutch, French, English, Comparative Literature and Literary Theory, Latin American Literature, etc.
Besides the obligatory courses the student can choose three electives (each 10 ec) from his or her specialisation (f.i. Italian, German, Dutch, French, English, Comparative Literature and Literary Theory, Latin American Literature etc.) and combine them with his or her thesis subject (25 ec).
