Study programme Population Health Management
Our study programme is designed with input from the professional field. Interdisciplinary collaboration is is at the core of this curriculum, shaped to train our students in all aspects of Population Health Management.
Year 1
In year 1, the curriculum consists of 10 courses with a 4-week-structure:
Weeks 1&2 | Week 3 (on campus) |
Week 4 |
Online | Intensive group week | Individual week |
Working groups and webinars (optional) |
Mandatory | Consultation hour |
Parallel to the courses, students participate in two project cases: one in each semester. The projects require group work to tackle a health care issue, based on interdisciplinary collaborations from the professional field.
Year 2
The second year is split into two parts which can be executed parallel to each other. In the first half year, students have to put together a personal programme within one of four fields:
- epidemiology
- data science
- governance
- syndemics
Two orientation weeks are scheduled in year 1 to inform students about the choices.
During your final semester, students carry out a research project and write a thesis.
