Vijf jaar na de overhandiging van ‘A History of Russian Law’, overhandigde emiritus hoogleraar Ferdinand Feldbrugge op 16 januari het tweede deel van zijn unieke overzichtswerk aan decaan van de Faculteit der Rechtsgeleerdheid Joanne van der Leun.

Op 28 juli 2022 overleed onze gewaardeerde collega Daniëlle Hamstra na een kort ziekbed. Sinds 2010 was Daniëlle verbonden aan de sectie Klinische Psychologie, aanvankelijk als student in de research master en vervolgens als docent en promovenda.

Op 8 april organiseerden we onze allereerste onderzoeksdag — een veelbelovende start, met meer in het vooruitzicht. We lieten zien hoe onderzoekers en ondersteunend personeel samenwerken om onderzoekssubsidies binnen te halen, studies uit te voeren volgens de nieuwste richtlijnen en samen uitdagingen…

Het afgelopen jaar verschenen twaalf artikelen van Leidse geesteswetenschappers op The Conversation, een Engelstalig platform dat aan wetenschap gerelateerd nieuws vertaalt naar een breed publiek. Lees hun artikelen hier!

Taner Kuru, an eLaw alumnus, was awarded the prestigious European Data Protection Law Review ‘Young Scholar Award’ for his paper on the shortcomings in the GDPR for the regulation of genetic testing at the prestigious Computers, Privacy and Data Protection Conference (CPDP).
