D&I Calendar raises awareness about the impact on work and study of important dates
Last month, with the help of the advisory groups the D&I Calendar was launched for the Faculty of Humanities. The calendar serves as a tool to create awareness about important dates related to diversity and inclusion and their potential impact on work and study.
The D&I Calendar includes religious holidays and important dates related to diversity and inclusion. The calendar can be useful for planning meetings, events, and other communications. Both the Staff Advisory Group D&I and the Student Advisory Group D&I were involved in the process of the calendar’s creation.
A colour-coded distinction is made between religious holidays and other D&I dates. For religious holidays, the description of the agenda item includes information about possible dietary restrictions and restrictions for staff members and students.

Download the D&I CalendarThe calendar can be downloaded as an iCalendar file (see attachment) by those who want to add these dates to their own Outlook, Google, or Apple calendar. For questions about the calendar and/or suggestions for adjustments, please feel free to contact Aurelie van 't Slot.
The calendar does not give employees or students the right to demand that certain activities do not take place on religious holidays, except for official public holidays in the Netherlands.
