Come to the pre-strike meetings in Leiden and The Hague
On 10 June, students and staff are protesting against the cuts to higher education. In the run-up to the strike, the action committee is holding a series of meetings where you can ask questions, brainstorm and help ensure the strike is successful.

FNV pre-strike meeting
On 27 May, a pre-strike meeting is being held at the FNV building in Leiden from 16.00 - 18.00 to discuss the long-term strategy. You can also join this meeting online.
Executive Board supports the initiative but university will remain open
The Executive Board and deans fully support the initiative and understand that students and staff want to have their voices heard against the planned cuts and the erosion of higher education. However, the university will remain open. Read more in this news article.
