Train strike: no trains on Friday and possibly fewer on Tuesday
The NS is warning passengers that there will be a strike on Friday 6. There will be no trains running that day, all day affecting the whole of The Netherlands. The NS will not provide alternative means of transport. So be prepared if you have to be in The Hague or Leiden on Friday. On Tuesday 10 June there will also be the possibility of a strike. Friday 6 June
Due to the NS strike on Friday 6 June no trains will be running. The NS wil not provide alternative means of transport.
Tuesday 10 June
NS workers may also be striking in the West region on Tuesday 10 June. That is the day when students and staff from the Dutch universities are gathering Dam Square in Amsterdam. The unions will provide buses from Delft, The Hague, Groningen, Leiden and Rotterdam. Read more about this option and what the strike will mean for students and staff.
