Green light for new lighting in Agora
Starting April 2026, all lighting in the building will be replaced. We will transition from TL/PL lighting to LED lighting. This measure follows the national energy agreement and the Climate Act. LED lighting lasts up to five times longer than the current TL lighting and is up to 50% more energy‑efficient and environmentally friendly. With this change, we reduce maintenance and energy costs and contribute to a better environment.
Timeline
The assessment will begin on Friday, 30 January at 9:00. The company Spie will start on floors 1 and 2, the ground floor, and the basement. All lights are expected to be replaced by December 2026.
What does this mean for staff and students?
Staff and students may experience some inconvenience during the replacement process. While lighting in the hallways is being replaced, certain study or work areas may be temporarily unavailable. The same applies to staff offices when lighting fixtures are being replaced there.
