The Institute of Psychology is looking for a new student ambassador for the Psychology master's programme as of 1 March 2026! As an ambassador you will take care of all the information activities of the Psychology master, and you manage a team of current students who represent their specialisation.

Your tasks

• Managing the Master Recruitment Team consisting of 12 master students from all specialisations;
• Answering questions and helping potential master students with their study choice through responding to emails;
• Organising, coordinating and evaluating information activities, such as the student for a day activities, master open days, and welcome meetings for new students;
• Coordinating with the Communication Department of the Psychology programme;
• Assisting with any other online and offline activities (e.g. newsletters).

We are looking for

For this position, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Psychology master's student who enjoys contributing to informing and guiding prospective master's students. We are looking for someone who will be following a master's specialisation for (at least) another year and who can easily combine his or her studies with side activities. It is also important that you have Dutch insurance. Furthermore, you are:

• A student with good communication skills both in English and Dutch (you don’t have to be a native speaker in Dutch but should have advanced knowledge of the language);
• Strong in organising activities;
• Enthusiastic about working in a team and a good leader;
• Proactive and flexible;
• Reliable, independent and organised.

• A contract for one academic year for 8 hours per week*;

*Please note: the time you spend on your role as ambassador varies each week (8 hours on average) and the hours should be distributed across the week;
