Bicycle parking inspection Gorlaeus cycle parking – tagging campaign started
To keep the cycle parking area next to the Gorlaeus Building pleasant, safe and easy to use for everyone, we will start another parking inspection from next week. We are seeing an increasing number of bicycles being left in the racks for long periods, which means the facility fills up more quickly.
What does this involve?
Early in the morning, bicycles that appear to have been unused will be tagged. If you find a tag on your bicycle, you can simply remove it yourself if you are still using your bike.
If your bicycle still has a tag in the cycle parking area on 11 May, it will be considered an abandoned bicycle and will be removed. The bicycles will then be placed in storage.
Collecting removed bicycles
Removed bicycles will be kept in storage for at least one year. If you are missing your bicycle, please contact the Service Desk to arrange collection. The Service Desk is located in wing CE.0 of the Gorlaeus Building.
