Content of the training
Bystander Intervention training teaches individuals how to recognise and safely intervene in situations in which they feel the need to act. Examples include encounters with bullying, discrimination, sexual harassment, micro-aggression, or other types of unacceptable or transgressive behaviour. This training develops participants’ skills when intervening in a variety of challenging real-life scenarios, and strengthens their assertiveness in both personal and external experiences.
For who?
- Board members of student associations
- Key figures within student associations, i.e. members who fulfil a role for which the training is relevant. For example, confidential peer listeners, board members of sub-associations (disputen), or bar and order committee
