Trustee Funds (Curatorenfondsen)
Trustee funds are intended to contribute towards the study costs of students who are going abroad for a study-related activity but are unable to fund the activity without additional financial support.

For who
Students who wish to undertake an activity abroad that is related to their Leiden University study programme, but are unable to fund the activity without additional financial support.
Eligibility requirements
All students of Leiden University are eligible to submit a request.
Scholarship amount
- The scholarship consists of a one-off contribution towards the cost of your study-related activity abroad.
- The amount awarded depends on the duration of your stay, costs involved and your financial means.
- For a trip of 10 months or longer, the maximum amount that can be awarded is 700 euro.
- Students may apply for funding from the trustee funds once per study. Bachelor and master programmes are considered separate studies for these purposes.

The application proper is submitted through the LUF Grant Portal.
