Do you want to get involved in the university community whilst working on your personal development? Co-participation is the perfect way to do it.

Have you been subjected to concerning or threatening behaviour? Are you worried that a fellow student might pose a danger to others? Or do you have concerns about abusive behaviour in the home? If so, you can turn to the Advisory Team for Concerning or Threatening Behaviour.

As a student of Leiden University you may be eligible for financial support via a number of scholarships, funds and other rulings. Many companies and organisations also offer discounts to students.

Graduating from your study programme and being awarded your diploma does not mean your student registration is automatically cancelled. De-registration is your own responsibility and is not compulsory.

Being on the board of a student association or organisation is a great way to gain work experience whilst having an unforgettable time with your fellow students. As a student board member, you may also be eligible for financial support.

Honours education provides extra challenge alongside your regular study programme.

As a student residence permit holder, you have a number of obligations. If you fail to meet any of these obligations, Leiden University is required to inform the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND), which may result in the revocation of your permit.
