Software
- Leiden University supports Kaltura and MS Teams for teaching. Zoom is not allowed by the University, as there are still issues with privacy. Students should ensure they can access both platforms. Scroll down to the IT facilities and the Education Application sections on the student website to get access. Each instructor will make her/his own choice for platform.
- Virtual Learning Environment Blackboard has been be replaced by Brightspace this summer. A two minute introduction video on the use of Brightspace for students can be found here.
- Proctoring software will only be used at FGGA if there are no other formats to assess the learning outcomes, for example in language courses.
- Make sure you work securely. Your computer, laptop, mobile phone and tablet should be updated and have security software. Use only trusted and secure wifi networks. Read more information in the Security and online study section on this website!
