S4S Vacancy: Buddy System Project Coordinator (POPCorner-FSW) Are you looking for an opportunity to further develop your leadership skills and connect with active students from various programmes within your faculty? Or are you looking for an internship and do the responsibilities listed below match your internship requirements? If so, the Buddy System Project may be the perfect opportunity for you.
Within the S4S Buddy System Project, you will work on your professional development goals under the guidance of a professional from the POPcorner team. In addition, you will further develop your communication and organisational skills by:
- Conducting introductory meetings with senior students who would like to become buddies for first-year students;
- Conducting introductory meetings with first-year students who would like to have a buddy;
- Matching senior students with first-year students;
- Serving as the main point of contact for both buddies and the first-year students they support;
- Organising a workshop on student mentoring for buddies in collaboration with the POPcorner team.
In addition to gaining valuable professional experience and achieving your personal learning goals, you will receive a letter of recommendation from your faculty upon successful completion of the project.
