AnyAge.ai Hackathon: Tackling Age Bias in AI Recruitment

Are you interested in AI, recruitment, and diversity? On Tuesday, 24 June 2025, Leiden University is hosting the AnyAge.ai Hackathon from 09:00 to 19:00 at the Gorlaeus Building (Einsteinweg 55, Leiden – rooms DM.1.09 & EM.1.09).

Throughout the day, students, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines will collaborate to develop innovative tools that combat age discrimination in AI-driven recruitment. Work in multidisciplinary teams on solutions that promote fairer and more inclusive hiring practices and compete for cash prizes (1st: €2,000, 2nd: €1,000, 3rd: €500).

Register as a team or individually – solo participants will be matched to ensure diverse team composition. The hackathon is organized by the Methodology & Statistics unit of the Faculty of Psychology, in collaboration with the international AGEAI project. The event will be held in both Dutch and English.
