From 28 June to 25 July 2026, our partner East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) is once again organising its Shanghai Summer School on Chinese Political and Legal Culture.

Every year, we can nominate 1 student from our faculty for a full* grant for this programme!

The entire programme will be taught in English. In addition to lectures on Law, Legal Culture and Chinese language courses, the programme also includes excusions to places like Suzhou and Hangzhou as well as a visit to a law firm and a court. 

This is a unique opportunity to spend 4 weeks studying in Shanghai! The grant is sponsored by the Education Commission of the Shanghai municipality.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday 1 April 2026 at 23.59.
