Purple Friday (POPcorner FSW)

Will you join us? On Friday, 9 October, we will once again be organising our annual Purple Friday event, and we need you! We would like to come together and explore how we can address a number of themes related to LGBTQIA+ support. Is it also relevant to join if you’re not queer yourself? ABSOLUTELY! As part of an inclusive university, we want to learn how we can support and understand one another. This is what we call allyship. Even if you don’t identify as queer yourself, you can still play an important role through your work in creating a socially safe university for everyone. Think, for example, of inclusive recruitment or inclusive curricula. We would also like to explore how we can strengthen our networks and discuss what role the University could play in Pride Leiden. ou are warmly invited to join us!
