2025 IBA ICC Moot Court Side Event

This panel discussion will explore the experiences of international criminal tribunals and the International Criminal Court (ICC) in tracking and arresting suspects.

  • What are the key tools that lead to the successful tracking and arrest of suspects who are subject to international arrest warrants?
  • What are the main challenges in tracking and arresting suspects?
  • What can be done to ensure that international arrest warrants can be executed?

The event will be moderated by: Kate Orlovsky, Director, IBA ICC & ICL Programme The discussion will be held in English and will be open to participants and judges of the 2025 IBA ICC Moot Court Competition, as well as open to the public. The IBA ICC Moot Court Competition is a high-level educational program bringing together students of different backgrounds and cultures to simulate the judicial proceedings of the ICC. The 2025 edition of the competition will be held in The Hague from 11 to 18 June.
