LUCAS nodigt sollicitanten uit te reageren op de vacature van PhD (1,0 fte). De PhD gaat werken aan het NWO onderzoeksprogramma 'The illustrated Aesopian Fable in Education in France 1500-2010', onder supervisie van Prof. dr. P.J. Smith.

Docenten spelen een cruciale rol bij het implementeren van onderwijsvernieuwingen. Uiteindelijk hangt het succes van de implementatie af van de manier waarop docenten de vernieuwing vormgeven in hun dagelijkse lespraktijk.

Aya Ezawa nam op 11 juni met een bijeenkomst in het Academiegebouw afscheid als Diversity Officer van de Universiteit Leiden. Ze was sinds haar benoeming in 2019 onvermoeibaar adviseur voor cultuurverandering en pleitbezorger van diversiteit, inclusie en gelijke kansen voor iedereen.

Judi Mesman vertelt in een interview op de website Kennislink over hoe kinderen de coronacrisis beleven. Ze bekeek hiervoor door kinderen ingestuurde tekeningen.

Uit onderzoek blijkt dat baby’s huidskleur opmerken. Kinderen hebben ook al heel jong een voorkeur voor andere kinderen uit hun eigen etnische groep. Hiernaast blijkt dat volwassen het heel ongemakkelijk vinden om huidskleur te benoemen. We weten bovendien dat kinderen dat ongemak opmerken.
