Newly added to our collection is the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of Literature (OREL). This growing encyclopedia aims to map the world's entire landscape of literary expressions and criticism, bringing together the various fields and approaches that make up literature in its broadest sense.

The encyclopedia is updated monthly. Recently added articles include Twentieth-Century Latin-American Literature, Autofiction, Literature and Disability in the English Renaissance and African American Children's Literature. Eventually OREL will include multi-media features embedded in articles, links to digital archives, and cross-referenced links to related content.
