Your story becomes art in the [s]TATTOO pop-up studio
Do you feel free to share your thoughts, feelings or concerns at our university? We’re inviting students and staff to discuss this in our [s]TATTOO pop-up studio.
Let us turn your story into an artwork in the [s]TATTOO studio
The [s]TATTOO studio will be visiting different faculties over five days in March and April. The studio is designed to feel welcoming and familiar, like your favourite tattoo shop or hairdresser – a friendly place to share your story.
How does it work?
You talk to one of the artists in the studio. They listen and make a small artwork of the encounter – a poem or a picture, for instance. This is then laser-engraved on a sticker or an item you’ve brought with you (a drinking bottle, phone case or bag).
The pop-up studio is a place to share experiences and start a conversation about how we interact with each other – and how we would like this to be. The studio is visiting different locations and will bring together the stories of students and staff from across the university. This will give us an idea of what’s going on and will give you a souvenir of a good conversation.
