For anyone who wants to learn more about colours (mixing) and painting with acrylic paint, all levels welcome.

Content
In this short course, colour is central!
Based on a photo you bring yourself, you will make a painting.
You will analyse the colours and paint with acrylic paint.
Various exercises are offered, including working with the extensive colour circle, color analysis and contrast analysis. We will also look at work by well-known painters.
At the end of the course, you will know more about colours and colour mixing and you will have a beautiful painting to hang up.

(For the 1st lesson, bring a printed colour photo (A4 size) that you would like to paint)
 

The course includes use of material during the lessons.
At Terpentijn you can buy materials for at home. The first lesson you will receive a LAK student card that gives you a 10% discount at Terpentijn.

Teacher
The lessons are given by visual artist Robbert Kiewiet. Robbert graduated from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht in the direction of autonomous art. Robbert has over 15 years of experience as a teacher. Has taught for 10 years at the Art Academy, was 4 years lecturer at Beelden in Leiden and taught for 5 years painting courses in Spain. In addition, Robbert has been providing painting workshops for companies and groups since 1998.
