Radhika Gupta and Erik de Maaker both recently published a book. For each of them, we will have a short book presentation, discussant comments and time for questions and discussion. Afterwards there will be drinks on the 3rd floor to which you are warmly invited as well.
Radhika Gupta | Freedom in Captivity
Dr. Radhika Gupta will present her monograph Freedom in Captivity: Negotiations of Belonging along Kashmir’s Frontier (Cambridge University Press), with discussant comments by Dr. Aditi Saraf (Utrecht University).
Erik de Maaker | Reworking Culture
Dr. Erik de Maaker will present his monograph Reworking Culture: Relatedness, Rites, and Resources in Garo Hills, North East India (Oxford University Press), with discussant comments by Anna Notsu Msc (Leiden University).
