About the event
On Friday the 15th of December, BA International Studies will host a semester closing to come together before the winter break. This semester closing is a combined event, both for our students as well as for all staff members. The closing will start with a moment for lunchbites and drinks, followed by the option to help build and decorate gingerbread houses with BASIS.
The event will close with our Stepping Stones Seminar, which in this edition will be given by Dr. Stefano Belucci.
BASIS will also award a small prize to the staff member or student with the ‘ugliest’ Christmas sweater. Dusting off your Christmas attire is thus not obligatory, but very much encouraged!

| 12:00 - 13:30 | Come join staff and students for lunchbites and drinks at the SBS Restaurant |
| 12:15 - 13:15 | Help BASIS in making an International Studies gingerbread village at the SBS Restaurant |
| 13:15 - 13:25 | Prize for the student/staff with the ‘ugliest’ Christmas sweater |
| 13:30 - 14:30 | End the semester with a lecture in A2.03 titled Social Justice and Labour – African Contexts, by Dr. Stefano Belucci |
