The Sociolinguistics and Discourse Studies research group is organising a SocioDisco Day on December 11th, during which researchers in our group will present the topic they are current working on. This event aims to showcase the broad range of research being done by members of the group and offer researchers a chance to meet and share (ongoing) research with colleagues. Topics will include multilingualism, language ideologies, queer linguistics, historical sociolinguistics, rhetorical strategy, language contact, and more!
Other researchers and students are warmly invited to attend, and discover the breadth of what sociolinguistics and discourse studies at Leiden University have to offer. If you are interested in attending, please sign up using the link below.
