Exhibition at the KOG: 'Plastic Justice – A creative take on plastic and law'

From 3 to 13 December you can see the exhibition Plastic Justice at the Kamerlingh Onnes Building. Esther Kentin, coördinator of the Leiden Advocacy Project on Plastic, saw the exhibition at the Plastic Health Summit and initiated a collaboration with the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

Plastic Justice is a European collaboration project between art and design academies in The Hague, Reykjavik, Barcelona, ​​London and Vilnius. Together with NGOs and academics, the project looks at the long-term impact of invisible microplastics on the human body and nature. Plastic Justice aims to bring about new knowledge by way of academic exchange and field research to promote conscious design education for an emerging generation.

The sixth lecture in the lecture series (in Dutch) Duurzaamheid en Recht on Monday 13 December (19.00 in A.144), will look at the regulation of plastic pollution.  Esther Kentin will also give a guest lecture at the Academy of Art in The Hague about plastic and law.

The exhibition can be seen until 13 December at the Kamerlingh Onnes Building between the ground floor and 1st floor, A corridor. Videos and other material can also be viewwed on https://plasticjustice.eu/.
