Works on the east side of the Gorlaeus Building
From 19 to 22 September, works will take place on the east side of the Gorlaeus Building, in the area between the building and the new University Sports Centre.
What will happen?
Previously, sheet piles were driven into the ground here to support the heating and cooling system. These sheet piles will now be removed.

Friday 19 September: site preparations

Saturday 20 September: removal of the sheet piles

Monday 22 September: completion of works and removal of equipment
Possible disruption
The works will be carried out in such a way as to minimise inconvenience. However, on Saturday 20 September, some noise and vibration disturbance may occur.
