Course description
We do have a textbook, but don’t worry—it’s not just for reading! We’ll use it to build a solid foundation and then bring that knowledge to life with engaging, interactive activities that make learning feel like a breeze.
We assume no prior knowledge, so everyone can join!
Classes will be held every Thursday, starting on November 4th, and each lesson will be 2 hours long—giving you plenty of time to learn and practice. And all this for just €75—a small price for a big step into the Dutch-speaking world.

Course outline
The course consists of 10 classes of 2 hours each and 1 exam. The total study load per week is about 4 hours: 2 hours for the class and 2 hours for individual study and preparation. You are allowed to miss a maximum of 2 classes, but this may affect your final grade negatively, as evaluation takes place continuously. After successfully finishing the course plus exam, the students will receive a certificate of completion.
About the exam
To obtain the Daily Dutch certificate, you need to achieve a minimum of 5.5 overall to pass the course. The participation grade is administered weekly, and to receive it you need to hand in the required homework before each class.

If you wish to borrow the book you will be issued the book at the first session. However, if you prefer to buy the book, please remember to take it with you to the first session of the course.
