What can Global South perspectives tell us about the changing geopolitical order?
Countries in the so-called ‘Global South’ are often perceived as being ‘affected’ by geopolitical changes rather than shaping them themselves. Currently, this international order is undergoing fundamental changes in terms of international cooperation, law, economic development and migration, questioning the agency and position of Global South countries. This symposium, titled ‘Global South Perspectives on the Changing Geopolitical Order’, brings together academics and practitioners to discuss shifts in the international order and diverse viewpoints on contemporary geopolitical developments.
