The changing balance of power, emerging security dynamics, and the choices facing the two Koreas
As strategic competition intensifies in Northeast Asia, the Korean Peninsula is once again at the intersection of major-power politics. How are shifting relations between China, the United States, Russia, and Japan reshaping the security environment around North and South Korea—and what could this mean for the region’s future?
Bringing together leading Korea and Indo-Pacific experts, this panel explores the changing balance of power, emerging security dynamics, and the choices facing the two Koreas. The discussion will be particularly relevant to students, researchers, policymakers, and anyone interested in geopolitics, Asian security, and international affairs.
