Discuss open democracy and political participation with Cleveringa Professor Hélène Landemore
Take part in a unique workshop with Cleveringa Professor Hélène Landemore: 'Democracy that goes beyond elections'. During the workshop, she will discuss the principles of open democracy and new forms of political participation.
Hélène Landemore is a French political theorist who is regarded as a leading voice on democracy, constitutional reform and the ethical and political implications of artificial intelligence. She will deliver her inaugural lecture as this year’s Cleveringa Professor on 26 November. The day before, on 25 November from 15.15 to 17.00, she will give a workshop where she will discuss her work in conversation with Professor Sarah de Lange (Leiden University) and Professor Frank Hendriks (Tilburg University). Luísa Pinto e Netto will act as moderator.
