Meet your student representatives in the Political Science Programme Committees

We are pleased to introduce your new student representatives for the bachelor’s and master’s Programme Committees! They were elected in early October and will represent your interests throughout the upcoming academic year.

Bachelor’s representatives
Dear Bachelor students,
We would like to introduce ourselves to you as the new members of the Political Science Bachelor’s Programme Committee! From left to right, we are Sven Jonkers (NIP), Elise Mintjens (NIP), Antonina Basarab (IRO), and Giona Destefani (IRO).
Our role is to represent your voices, ideas, and concerns to the Programme Board of Political Science. Together, we are already making sure that your feedback is heard and turned into real change. We will work towards smoother and less stressful examination processes, better content and organisation of lectures and teaching materials, good communication with lecturers and instructors, and a high-quality programme that is accessible to all students, whether you live in Leiden, The Hague or travel a long way to get there.
We would love to hear from you throughout the year. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns regarding your courses or the programme, feel free to reach out to any of us! Master’s representatives
Dear Master students,
We would like to introduce ourselves as your new student representatives on the Political Science Master’s programme committee. From left to right, we are Fay Ekinci (NECD), Mattheos Pashiourtides (D&R), and Fabio Maurits (D&R).
Our role this year is to represent your voices, ideas and concerns to the Programme Board. We want to make sure your feedback is not only heard but also translated into practical improvements to our study programs. We will work towards stronger cooperation between the different specialisations in Leiden and The Hague, clearer (AI) regulations, and an open and transparent relationship between students and the Institute.
