If you were delayed in your studies during the 2025–2026 academic year due to circumstances beyond your control or top-level sport, please be aware that you may be eligible for financial compensation for this delay. The following situations may be considered as circumstances beyond your control: (chronic) illness, disability, pregnancy and childbirth, exceptional family circumstances (such as loss of a close relative), caring responsibilities and educational circumstances beyond your control (your study adviser can tell you whether this applies to your situation).

If you fell behind during the 2025-2026 academic year due to one or more of the abovementioned circumstances, check the website below to see if you meet the requirements and submit a request to have your study delay registered. Please note: you must do this before March 1, 2027 — that is, no later than February 28, 2027. Requests submitted after the deadline cannot be processed.
