You will learn about the different steps in a recruitment process and how to research an organisation and the position you are applying for. You will also become familiar with the STARR method, which helps you describe your skills and experiences in a clear and concrete way. 

During the workshop, you will practise a job interview yourself and receive feedback. You will learn how to put yourself in the employer’s position and how to highlight your strengths and ask relevant questions. 

Bring a vacancy that you find interesting or that you have previously applied for. This will allow you to apply the exercises directly to a situation that is relevant to you.

Who can participate? 
Students enrolled at Leiden University and alumni up to one year after graduation. This workshop is given in English.
