What is the Honours College?
Leiden University's Honours College is intended for curious students who are looking for a challenge alongside their bachelor's programme. Participants in the Honours College broaden their horizons with an interdisciplinary range of courses. This allows them to discover new interests and talents and develop their skills.

Why join the Honours College?

- Certificate: If you successfully complete the Honours College track, you will receive an Honours College certificate. This allows you to show employers that you have successfully completed your programme.
Combining the Honours College with other activities
The duration of the Honours College is 2 or 2.5 years, depending on your start date. The Honours College at Leiden University is designed in such a way that you can follow it alongside your bachelor’s programme without falling behind in your studies.
It is also possible to combine the Honours College with other study activities, such as a stay abroad, internship or relevant board position. The coordinator of the track where you start stands ready to discuss specific requests.
