LDE Sustainability Honours

Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable world? In the LDE Sustainability Honours Programme you will gain fundamental knowledge on sustainability and tackle a real-world sustainability challenge.

For students of all academic disciplines

No sustainability expert? No problem! The LDE Sustainability Honours Programme (15 EC) welcomes second- and third-year bachelor’s students from all faculties of Leiden University, TU Delft and Erasmus University, as long as they recognise themselves in the following:

You are interested in questions of sustainability.
You are keen to approach problems through different perspectives.
You like working with a motivated group of students on the same goal.
You are able to attend classes for the full duration of the programme.
You meet the admission requirements.

Practicalities

When: November to June.
Where: The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam
What: Lecture series and an interdisciplinary team project
Language: English
Costs: No additional fees. However, you may incur travel costs.

Certificate

The programme exists of 15 EC of extracurricular education. Upon successful completion of the full programme, you will receive a certificate. In Leiden and Delft, you can also register your courses on your diploma supplement as extracurricular education. Find out how this works through the FAQ about LDE honours education.

This honours programme is a joint initiative by the Honours Academies of Leiden University, TU Delft and Erasmus University Rotterdam. We work together in the LDE Alliance.
