Study spaces

Are you looking for a quiet place to study, with or without a computer? You can find study spaces within your faculty building, in the libraries and at Plexus Student Centre.

Student workstations

At the student workstations you can log-in using your account. Every workstations is equipped with a basic package of applications: overview of the available software.

If you are having problems with the workstation at which you are working you can complete this incident form. To request a specific ICT service please complete the request form. For other questions contact the Helpdesk.

Faculty buildings

Every faculty building has student workstations. You’re welcome to study in any faculty building, irrespective of your study programme.


There are 1800 work stations in the libraries, with and without computers.


You can find both computer rooms and study rooms at Plexus Student Centre.

Gorlaeus Laboratories

The Gorlaeus Laboratories offer study spaces, both in the LMUY and LCP buildings.

Computer facilities

Students enrolled in the Faculty of Humanities can use the computers in rooms 123, 126a en 126b (and, in special cases, media room 127) of the Lipsius building. 

You can log on to the PC using your ULCN account. 

Opening hours

  • Monday to Friday: 08.00 - 22.00 hours
  • Saturday and Sunday:  10.00 - 22.00 hours
